Seabase 2015 Recap

Posted by Scout Webmaster on May 26, 2015

Spring Break 2015, Troop 82 Scouts and Leaders traveled to the Florida Keys and the BSA's Florida National High Adventure Sea Base.  They enjoyed a week of sailing, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.  From coral reefs to Key West to Munson Island, it was a great Scouting adventure.  Along the way, the Scouts and Leaders earned the Sea Base Duty to God award as well as BSA Snorkeling, Kayaking, and Paddle boarding.  The Scouts swam with sharks, found geocaches, snorkeled for lobster, and ate their deep sea fishing catch on Munson island.

To participate in any BSA High Adventure, Scouts must be at least 14 years old or be 13 and have completed the 8th grade.  Troop 82 has at least one High Adventure trek per year.
