Wreath Fundraising!!

Posted by Marc Velasco on Sep 13, 2016

Troop 82 Scouts,

Welcome to another year of wreath sales!  This is our fourth year working with Bruss Landscaping located in Wheaton.  This year they have developed a sales brochure which will be available at the troop meetings or you can pick one up at my house.  Again, they do not charge us for delivery which puts more dollars back in your scout accounts.

Here’s how it works…

Start selling September 13th :   Use the Bruss Landscaping Sales Brochure to show the products we are offering.  Use the “2016 Holiday Greens Order Form” to list your customers and what they ordered.  People like to decorate for Christmas so contact your neighbors, your family and your friends!

If you wish to leave flyers at homes (optional), then make copies of the form that says “35th Annual Boy Scout Troop 82 Immanuel Lutheran Church Wreath Sale”.  Make sure you add your name and phone # to that flyer so you get credit.  I do get orders in the mail and I will add it to your total order but your name must be on it.

Remember to collect payment at the time of your order.  Checks should be made out to Boy Scout Troop 82.

All Orders are due by Wednesday, October 19th :   Turn in the completed “2016 Holiday Greens Order Form” to Mrs. Odom (807 S. Poplar) or bring to troop meeting by October 19th.  Remember to make a copy for yourself.  Money must be turned in with your order – checks only – no cash!   Early orders appreciated – NO LATE ORDERS PLEASE!

Delivery:  Greens will be delivered to the Odom house, 807 S. Poplar, sometime between 11/17 and 11/18.  Scouts will be notified when the orders are available for pick-up.

Just a reminder, again this year, 100% of your profits will go to each scout’s personal account.  You can use this money for scout dues, camp outings, high adventure outings or for camping and scouting equipment.   Good luck and if you have any questions, email Mrs. Odom at brendakodom@att.net or call at 630-279-8844 H.
